Philosophy
"People over profits. Every dollar saved on housing is a dollar that goes directly back to the people we serve."
Our Story

Built from necessity.
Driven by love.

Some organizations are built from opportunity. This one was built from necessity.

"Your situation isn't too complicated. It's just not solved yet."

Addiction has lived in our family for as long as we can remember. We have watched siblings — on both sides — fight battles with substance use disorder that most people only read about. We have watched children grow up in the shadow of that fight. Fathers who couldn't stay. Mothers who couldn't stop. Families who deserved better.

My sister Leah built Revive and Thrive Transitional Living in California — watching parents walk through her doors broken and walk out as the people their children needed. That changed something in me. What she built needed to exist in Brevard County.

We are not a typical nonprofit. We use our real estate expertise to source housing below market — and every dollar we save goes directly back into programming and services for the families we serve. People over profits. That is not a slogan. It is how we operate.

Our Model

The model that makes
us different.

Most nonprofits pay market rate for housing. We use our real estate expertise to source homes below market — and every dollar saved goes directly into services for the families we serve.

🏡
Creative Acquisition
Create Away Home Solutions sources housing below market through subject-to, seller carry, and negotiated multi-year leases.
💰
Savings Captured
The gap between market rent and actual cost is reinvested — not pocketed. People over profits, always.
💚
More Services
Every saved dollar funds parenting classes, peer support, transportation, family counseling, and employment navigation.
🔁

The virtuous cycle that changes lives

Better housing terms mean more money for the people inside the house. Our for-profit real estate expertise exists to serve our nonprofit mission. This is what it looks like when business puts people first.
